Last Look...

I walked down Venice Avenue to Venice Beach for one last time this season and happened upon Erin and her beach-yoga-loving lovers. They were rising from the last instruction as a boat passed by.

I heard Erin say this was the last session of the winter season
and that the summer schedule would be posted soon under the cabana.

Does it make you sad to leave or are you always ready to head back north for summer? I think having friends in both north and south would be so fun!
Will ya'll drive? how long does it take?

jmac,
It's not sad. We welcome the changes, hanging out with our kids for the summer...seeing our northern friends...it's lots of fun. We drive the 24-hour trip, dividing it into 8-hour increments. Often, we take a little side-trip somewhere along the way. Life's an adventure at every turn :)

...And away you go. Always good to get out before the pavement melts.

Safe travels, friend.

Lovely shot of the beach group and the whole leisurely scene. The journey back north sounds as if it will be a pleasant interlude, too. Travelling blessings, Becky.

Yoga on the beach - doesn't get more relaxing than that :)

It's definitely going to be a change here although the sun is making an appearance this morning.

To leave that beautiful beach would be difficult for me. Seeing my family would be the draw north, tho.
How are you doing from the surgery, Becky? Is your arm healing well?
Have a safe, and fun trip home.
Happy Mother's Day to you, my friend.
