Countdown, Day 7: Es Ist Ein Ros

Lo, how a Rose e'er blooming
from tender stem hath sprung!
Of Jesse's lineage coming,
as those of old have sung.
It came, a floweret bright,
amid the cold of winter
when half spent was the night.

Rose Bowl Centerpiece. I like to separate the contents of an inexpensive florist's bundle,
cut away the stems and lay the bits of beauty in bowls of water
to make a low tabletop centerpiece over which it's easy to talk.
Another idea: A small rose bowl at each place setting,
leaving the center of the table open for dishes to pass.

Hello Becky
Nice pictures you show.
I love roses - and dry them also like.
Wish you a good weekend :)
