Soup for the Soul

At the end of every noodle, there's a smile.
~~Campbells Soup Co.

As I came across this little soup tureen printed with CHICKEN NOODLE,
a warm feeling came over me. I smiled and gave $3 to the flea market dealer.

I don't understand the magical healing powers of this simple soup but am grateful for the warmth it offers body and soul. Now the printed words on my little tureen wait inside a kitchen cupboard door, reminding me of the benefits of this universal potion.

Soup season is on its way...

So cute! Yes, indeed, I'm looking forward to a big bowl of soup come October. Wait, I see clouds forming out there; soup season and clouds go together.

A good find and just ready for those warming seasonal soups - although chicken soup is comforting anytime - and minestrone, which is our family favourite.

I bet you find some neat stuff in your neck of the woods. It is amazing how healing a simple cup of soup can be. A few weeks back, my friend was very sick. I rang her up & asked what I could do? She responded "Soup Please". My mom & I threw together leftover from the fridge to create a quickie soup. It was love in a bowl & my friend so appreciated it. Soup makes everything better. xo

I love Soup Season - the best is when you go out and get soaking wet, then come home and curl up on the sofa with a blanket, soup and a good film. :) You know that life rocks.
