Hat Trick

Went to the beach to see great hats.
Not any truly fascinating finds
but this is a nice floppy one providing shade for a sand lover
near Sharky's On The Pier.
The weather has been splendid here, especially for tourists.
And I have a new computer :)

I love a floppy hat at the beach but I need the tie under the chin to keep it from blowing off my head & me running down the beach after it.

It covers everything you want it to cover. Great photo, very summery. So, how warm has it gotten in Florida? Here, our temps are as high as we get in summer, upper 60's for days on end.

A perfect cover-up. It's woolly hat weather here. In fact, our grandson even has a Woolly Hat Day at school tomorrow to raise funds for a local charity for the homeless. I'm sure he will have a fun day doing so.
Have a good week!

Hello Becky.
Beautiful picture - I long for spring.
Thanks for your comment on my blog.
The pictures from Lake Hald was photographed yesterday.
Police / Guard / helicopters were there, they searched for 2 who had disappeared on the second day.
It turned out later that it was "a murder" - a female teacher was killed by a psysisk sick man.
Horrible ..... I am a little shocked.
Wishing you a good day.
Hugs Hanne Bente ♥

I used to have a hat a bit like that, but I found it scratchy - I prefer cloth sunhats, although they often look less interesting.

Congratulations with both weather and computer - wish I could find a use for that hat right now :-)

This photo is wonderfully composed, Becky! I especially like the way the upper brim of the hat follows the dip in the sand behind it!

the textures...the color... hot pink smooth chair...sun and shade dappled white sand...tightly woven light straw... touch of blue... deep brown glimpse...even the little freckles on a tanning shoulder...
perfect image of a calm and lovely moment. can almost hear the nearby sea! magical.
love,

I have never been able to find a hat that looks good on my (big) head.

A new computer and sunshine. Perfect.
