Dogs in Paradise

The lucky dogs around Venice, Florida have their own beach.
Just south of Sharky's on the Pier,
Paw Park welcomes four-footed pals for water play.
So come on in,
 the water's fine!

Dog showers provided before getting back in the car :)

I love watching dogs enjoying the beach, they play with such abandon, something we can all take a lesson from.

The water looks gorgeous and so inviting, I would have adored joining them for a rousing game of frisbee!

Those boys are having fun! ...the dogs too!

We have a dog beach here, too. But since my dog (a basenji) hates water, we don't take advantage of it!

I love the sheen on their coats--you've caught all the texture in their wet coats and the many layers of the waves and its foam--outstanding photos!:)
And the 'models'are spectacular---dogs can alwasy bring a smile to my face!

What a fun idea! And a great place to get some animal action shots :)

We have dog parks, but not dog water parks! Of course, we live no where near the ocean... I'm glad that showers are provided!

Thanks, Becky, for your great comment on your towns version of "Chicago Dibs." I will await parade season, and enjoy your blog about it. Chicago is surely a long way from parade season. Looking forward to spring.

Fondly,
Glenda
