A Breath of Heaven

And Winter
Slumbering in the open air
Wears on its smiling face
A dream of Spring.

Ah...dreams of Spring. Lovely.

I scrolled down and enjoyed your pictures of Disney and Landon. He's precious!

Aren't you a Florida girl - like me?

It's a long way off here, but I'm going to 'force' some bulbs to bring spring inside here.
Beautiful tulips. Wonderful verse.

Winter means anticipation of an explosion of color and warmth. Winter also means "cuddling time", time to get close to each other, to be armed by the other. Peace! Ron

This has been an unusual winter for me: I'm not tired of it yet! But I love the tulips, which certainly speak of spring, and the dreaming smile mentioned in the delightful poem.
Blessings!

When I lived in the north and the west, always a treat to see the tulip or hyacinth leaves begin the ascent through the winter's remainder. Can't get tulips to grow here where I don't have to endure the snow. Prices to be paid for earlier barefoot time.

Beautiful photo.
