Dog Days

It's that time of year again...
the sweltering heat

means a big bowl of water is a treasure.
Sometimes generous restaurants offer water at their doors
for doggie customers walking the streets.

Flopping on cool concrete can be a necessity--
unless the concrete blisters from the heat of the sun.

A tongue for air conditioning,

a dog's best friend,

and a cuddle now and then gets us through these doggie days of summer.
Autumn, when are you coming?

Lovely dogs here, and well behaved too. Too bad the weather is making everyone so miserable. Hope it cools off soon in your neck of the woods.

Our dogs prefer to be inside as much as possible these days.

That big tongue is a dogs only way to cool down so it can be pretty uncomfortable for the sweet doggies when the temp soars. Hope cool breezes come your way soon.....

First, I am planning to go to Jane's Art House exhibit in October as long as I don't have a deadline that weekend. I'm also going to be in Venice in early November to go night shelling with Kaybe and Pam. Also still trying to nail down that blogger get together later that month. So, you just may get sick of seeing me, lol.

I am SO ready for the cooler weather to arrive!!!

Hugs

Well I love the dogs and I love the heat:):)
I feel like winter is so long and miserable here in Indiana that I never complain about the heat during the summertime:):)
